Being sick at home sucks big time. Not being able to go out and surf or kite is the worst thing! But hey, let’s make the best out of it and watch some awesome (or hilarious funny) surf movies. Here are my all-time favorites. If your favorite is missing, drop me a line!

THE  ONE strikes again. Kelly Slater beats Bede Durbigde for the title!

Today it’s all about kitesurfing. There is a small trainingsspot in front of the RIU hotel. A little bay with almost no beach (that’s why there are almost no swimmers). Perfect to practice a little and get prepared for El Medano.

The spot starts right after Playa del Duque in the south of Tenerife (Playa de Las Americas). So give it a try, if you are down there.

This is a very popular spot since it is alongside the Calle Francisco Andrade Fumero. Just when you walk from Los Cristianos to Las Americas you pass the first surfing spot on this street (more will follow). Depending on the tide it is a spot for beginners or more intermediate surfers. Always a lot of tourists who watch…so be prepared to show off your skills
